Gator conclusions

Here is what i learned...
  • Gator meat has lots of connective tissue
  • 1 lb. bone in gator is barely enough meat for one meal
  • Gator meat would be best slow cooked, (smoked, braised, etc.)
  • Peanut Butter and Jelly in a dorm room is an essential when trying exotic foods : )
On the bright side, i roasted the bones of the meat and then boiled them for about an hour and a half. The broth that was created is killer, so i am looking forward to some gator meat stew later in the week, maybe even with some shark steak in it! Keep reading the blog for the recipe.
